Sight: This wine is deep ruby red in color, has clear clarity, and tears/legs viscosity.
Aromas: clean appeal. Types of aromas include Earthy, Fruity, Spicy. Bright cherry, licorice and pepper. Spice.
Taste: This smooth, light-bodied wine is semi-dry, and shows fresh acidity, moderate tannins, oak, and moderately complex flavors. It is balanced, and has a medium finish. Overall, its appeal is clean.
Pairing Suggestions: Appetizer, Salad, Poultry Dish.
Overall Impression: This wine retails for about $14. We would purchase this wine again. We recommend adding this wine to your cellar or collection. This wine could use several years of cellaring. It was on oak for a good 18 months and shows a lot of tannin, which will round out with additional aging.
