This coming weekend, many wineries are opening up their doors. In this edition, I focus on wineries that are opening to the public for the first time, as well as some smaller locations that tend to get overlooked. In particular, I am going to focus on the Yamhill County and Willamette Valley areas. Be sure to call ahead and get confirmation on which wineries will be open.  
 
And remember, to have safe and relaxing time, try limiting your wine outing to four wineries.  
 
 
Yamhill County Wineries  
 
A to Z Wineworks is not a new winery but will be opening their doors for the first time ever this weekend. 9360 Eola Hills Road, Amity. (503) 835-9010.  
 
Antica Terra will be pouring at ADEA, 26421 N.W. Highway 47, Gaston. (503) 662-4509  
 
August Cellars is opening its doors for the first time. I have never been to this one, so I don’t know what to tell you yet, but I plan on stopping here to see. 14000 NE Quarry Road, Newberg. (503) 554-6766.  
 
Bella Vida Vineyard is also a new winery. 9380 NE Worden Hill Road, Dundee. (503) 538-9821,  
 
Deponte Cellars another first timer but they are only open on Sunday. 17545 Archery Summit Road, Dayton. (503) 864-2700.  
 
Laurel Hood Wines will be pouring at Adelsheim, at 16800 NE Calkins Lane, Newberg. (503) 538-3652.  
 
Panther Creek Cellars is at 455 N. Irvine St, McMinnville. (503) 472-8080.  
 
Six One Four is named after its location. 614 First Street, Newberg. (503) 537-5555.  
 
Stony Mountain Vineyard will be at the Private Reserve Wine shop & Tasting Room, 9 miles SW of McMinnville along Highway 18. (503) 843-3900.  
 
 
 
Lastly, one winery is changing its name. Many of you might have visited Chateau Benoit, and soon you will be visiting Anne Amie. I have tasted, enjoyed and purchased the Anne Amie wines in the past and can say they are all very superb wines. I would recommend that you stop and try them for yourself.
